Does EPS12v match ATX and is Quiet 1200W STRAIGHT POWER 12 with X670-E Gaming WiFi equivalent?
Hi, I'm searching for a new PSU and think this one is one of the best available in Argentina. It's Be Quiet 1200W 80 Plus Platinum with straight power 12 Full Modular ATX 3.1. It mentions EPS12 instead of ATX only. Can I use it with my motherboard without any problems?
My motherboard is a ROG Strix X670E-E GAMING WIFI. I'm wondering if I can connect the EPS connectors to my CPU slots. Which slot should I use for the CPU cable? Are there P8 slots for CPUs, or are they only for CPUs? I haven't seen those labeled P8 in other PSUs and usually they say CPU.
Could someone confirm compatibility? Also, which EPS type should I use—4+4 or 8? Thanks!
the p8 slots are intended for cables with a P8 label, specifically the 8pin EPS connectors. Check your PSU's manual for details; it mentions page 39~40 and explains that MB refers to the 24pin connection to the motherboard. For clarity, refer to the provided link and share images of what you see to prevent confusion.
I haven't bought it yet, but I'm planning to get this one. Can any p8 slot and the p8/eps cable that comes with the PSU be used for my CPU power on my motherboard? I was confused about why it's called EPS instead of ATX. Can the 600w 12vhp cable from this PSU be connected directly into a 5080?
