Does Coil have a buzzing noise?
Yes, Eximo works fine and the coil whine on its own doesn't hurt anything really. But it's just a weird noise most people find annoying, so they don't like having it.
You fixed my computer with coolant, so I really need to check if it looks good now.
Link to the build can be found in my signature. This setup sticks out a bit from the usual distro plates and hard tubing you see in other builds, but I enjoy the process more than most people do, so I try tackling complex projects. However, I'm not chasing perfect looks or super cool cooling results; practicality usually matters to me first, then aesthetics. But back when I did a water-cooled build some years ago, keeping those parts is cheaper because it's already done. Still, the next thing on my list will be expensive since I'll need a new CPU and GPU for that one.
The build feels good and matches the white design, but those blue LEDs seem to be hurting my eyes.
It doesn't actually look like that to me when I hold it up. The color seems much darker than expected. Maybe the camera is too sensitive or picking up some infrared light instead of just the colors you see. But I am still stuck with this non-RGB CPU block (even though it has white, red, and blue inserts) and the same non-RGB strip on the Eisbaer unit. As I mentioned in my post earlier, I do have an RGB strip from the old GPU block that I could potentially hook up now. RGB isn't really my thing, but my last two motherboards both had it along with the GPU block. The loop needs a little extra work done on top of it, so maybe I'll make an update soon.
Noctua doesn't really make fans that balance static pressure and airflow well for a standard 140mm size. Like most other companies lately, they mostly sell hybrid versions instead of pure static-pressure ones. Noctua's fans aren't bad on big radiators when you look at the price compared to their rivals back then. They were actually pretty good options years ago. These fans still work fine for a lot less money than what you'd pay for a Noctua. I remember buying these before the Redux or black models came out, maybe around that time frame. Back then, they wouldn't have been as strong against heat pipes anyway. There are no white-bladed versions of Noctua fans that I know about. If I ever need one again, the Phanteks T30 looks like a solid choice to me. It's basically a Noctua clone but 5mm thicker and does a little better. However, those clones are only 120mm wide, so you'd need a totally new design and bigger radiators just to fit them in.
