I frequently experience random freezing in GTA 5, accompanied by a buzzing sound for several seconds, requiring me to alt-tab and close the game through Task Manager.

My specifications are: Intel Core i5 8400, MSI GTX 1060 6GB (overclocked), MSI Mortar motherboard, 2x8 XPG Memory 3000MHz, 500GB Adata SSD, and a Raidmax 550W power supply.

Does it still crash without the GPU overclock?
Did your memory come together or did you buy it separately?
How long have you had that power supply? Is it the Raidmax RX-650W or the Raidmax RX-750W?

I did not test it without GPU overclocking, as I have previously played many games with the overclock without issues. My memory was affected due to purchasing the system pre-built from a store. I have owned my PC for approximately three months, and yes, I believe the first link is accurate.

Replace the PSU. It’s a low-quality unit that doesn’t provide close to its advertised wattage. Advertised at 550W, its maximum output is 456W. If you have a specified budget, I can suggest an improved alternative.

Likely a driver problem; perform the PCM latency checker to identify the problematic hardware. https://www.thesycon.de/eng/latency_check.shtml

If it indicates a potential issue, you can assess whether your actions resolve it.
