I have a Samsung Galaxy Book Pro and my screen broke. I bought a brand new replacement screen, but when I turn it on, the computer says I need AMD drivers to fix some settings. The laptop actually uses Intel graphics for display in Device Manager. I can't install AMD drivers without any AMD hardware connected. So here are my questions: 1) Am I right about needing AMD drivers for this laptop screen? 2) Can I try installing AMD drivers on my computer anyway? 3) What else can I do to get the screen working again? The old part number was ATNA56YX02, and the new one is ATNA56YX03. Also, note that the old screen's power sequence mentions "Intel" for changing register values because it worked before.

Welcome to our forums! Samsung has lots of Galaxy Books for all your needs at their website shop. They sell many things like 2-in-1 laptops such as the Galaxy Book2 Pro or a serious performance PC called the Galaxy Book Odyssey. Check this link: www.samsung.com Now, which one do you have? An SKU helps us two fold!

I have a Samsung NP950XDB-KC5US laptop. It comes with an Intel Core i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM running Windows 11 Home. The graphics are built-in using Intel Iris Xe, not from AMD. The CPU clock speed is 2.8 GHz. When you turn it on, the screen lights up just like before but without that AMD part in the mix.

I think this might be just about picking the right screen for your gadget. I didn't see any cases where someone tried something like that before. All the screens I looked at for that computer had exact same model numbers as yours.
