How did you get those values you suggested, 1.35V to 1.4V and CL30 (which means 30-36-36-72)? If I pick CL30, what option do I choose here in the BIOS? Will these numbers change by themselves or do I have to set them up manually? Is there a full list of timings from Corsair that I can use?
The numbers I shared are just general timing settings for CL30 RAM kits. 1.4V is the typical voltage used by Corsair EXPO RAM sticks, but the actual values can differ depending on the specific brand and model you have. If you already have a CL30 profile available, simply turning that setting on will automatically adjust all your numbers to fit perfectly. If you don't have that profile ready, you'll need to set them manually instead. To do this, press into the BIOS advanced mode and look for an "advanced timing" menu under the AI Tweaker page (since you're using an Asus board, this option should be there). On that timing screen, you will see a first group of four numbers; usually, the very top number is 28 if EXPO is enabled. Change these four numbers to match what I gave you (reading from the top down). If your computer runs fine with default settings but fails to boot when EXPO is turned on, that means your motherboard or CPU don't support the EXPO configuration for your RAM stick. In that case, you'll need to adjust the timings further or buy a different kit altogether.
The instruction manual says you can use either a simple all-in-one cable or a longer cable with three separate connections. If you choose the option with three connectors, make sure every single one of them is plugged in. Sometimes, the pump connection isn't seen as a CPU cooler on your board; it looks like you need something connected to the actual CPU fan header instead. Maybe that's what's wrong here? So try connecting just to the CPU fan header and set the CPU fan speed to maximum in the BIOS so the pump runs at full power, or plug the "fan" connector directly into the CPU fan header. Finally, if you still can't figure it out, replace the three-connector cable with a single one and plug that straight into the CPU fan header.
