Hi there! First off, I've never tried overclocking before. So, is it possible to overclock my i7-7700k with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED cooler? I mostly play Csgo and want a few more frames per second in that game. If you can tell me what voltage and how many ghz to use, would it be worth it for the extra fps I get? My motherboard is Asrock Z270 Pro4 and my CPU is an i7-7700k.

No two processors are exactly alike; they all differ in how much voltage they can take, how they feel when hot, and how much extra speed they allow. This random mix-up is called the "lottery" of chips. Just setting a specific frequency and voltage isn't enough to get the best results. The cooler works well enough for a little overclocking, but not much more. In the end, everything really depends on how much extra space (headroom) you have in the CPU temperature. If your stock temperatures are already around 80c, then yeah, maybe avoid overclocking it. But if your temps give you plenty of room to go higher, you can try it.

My body temperature feels like 35 degrees when I am just sitting still. When I start playing Call of Duty, it climbs up to maybe 40 or even 50 degrees. If I want to push the processor a little bit faster, what voltage and gigahertz level should I aim for? Could you give me some tips on how to do that safely?

I don't care that much about OOCs anymore. I just did one myself maybe. So I'll probably wait for other people's replies. But your temperatures let you have way more room to work with, even if you pick a heavy OC. Yeah, go ahead and do it!

More activity on your CPU might not mean faster frame rates. Frame rates actually depend on how well your graphics card, memory, and processor work together. To get a better result, it's best to tell me exactly what graphics card you have, the amount of RAM you use, whether it has two channels or one.
