Does a be quiet! system with 9600w power handle an overclocked i5 9600k?
Hey everyone, welcome to my thread! After some back-and-forth on how I can get the best speed out of things, we finally decided that I need to overclock my CPU now. So far as I'm reading Darkbreeze's guide, he says you need a really good power supply for it. But honestly, I don't know how to figure out what specs I actually need for a Bequiet PSU or even just a generic one in general. That is why I am asking here: Is the power supply I currently have enough of a 4.8ghz MAX overclock on my i5 9600k?
A very nice setup. The psu requirements are largely gated by the graphics card you will use. The GTX1660ti is a relatively efficient card so your psu would be sufficient. Here is a chart for other cards: http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm Overclocking does add some to power requirements, but really not that much . There will be a limit as to how much voltage you want to allow the processor to use.
