Does 2GB of VRAM suffice for Apex Legends?
Does 2GB of VRAM suffice for Apex Legends?
i wanna try Apex, and i have 2 choices of GPU to put in my pc.
i have a GTX 780Ti in it now, which has 3gb of vram ,ad a GTX 690 with 2gb of vram (4gb but it's SLI so 2gb usable). which card would be better?
also before you reply i know Apex has crap SLI support, but i found a fix here:
I'm not entirely confident, but you might want to test each car yourself. On my 1050, the game becomes very slow at low settings.
From my own experience, 2 GB of VRAM is more than enough. I've been using a Radeon HD 7850 with 2 GB and the game runs quite smoothly. Of course, my graphics settings are reduced, but it works well with what I have available. Also, checking their site shows that the minimum AMD card needed is a Radeon HD 7730 with just 1 GB of VRAM.
Starting it now...
if nothing functions, you can configure a specific frame rate in the game settings, like 60 fps, and the game will modify the video settings accordingly.
ps: I'm using the MX150 and maintain a consistent 60fps.
