Hello, When installing games, I notice they consume a specific amount of space. After updates, the installed files keep increasing. The only solution I've tried is completely reinstalling the game. Is there another method besides deleting 130GB to reinstall for 90GB of data? Also, COD is the worst case—I see it growing about 10GB with each update. Once it's reinstalled, it drops back down to around 90GB. Other games behave similarly, but COD stands out the most. Anyone else dealing with this and have a solution?

The most reliable method I've discovered is restoring Sucks because they can't automatically remove items they don't need, which is the current situation. If anyone else has a different perspective, I'd love to hear it.

They find ways to fix it or accept it as part of the situation.

It’s really a scheme between game developers and storage companies to encourage buying more and larger storage (just a joke). This happens because developers don’t feel much pressure to do it. You can reinstall and keep only the files you need. For instance, Call of Duty has been using a strategy where each new version includes all previous ones, which keeps things expanding. Another factor is adding new assets while still needing old ones. A common approach is to use an SSD for active games—1Tb M.2 is affordable and SATA is even cheaper. They’re fast enough for most titles. If you rarely play certain games, you can store those on a HDD, which is even more cost-effective and offers larger capacities.
