Documenting the delay issue
Documenting the delay issue
I'm not sure if this forum is the right place, but I'm trying to capture SNOW on Steam. It seems like recording at 30 FPS isn't working smoothly. I suspect the issue might be with my WD green hard drive used for writing files. I'm using Fraps and have these specs: I5 4690K, Hyper 212 Evo cooler, R9 380 4G, BX100 250 GB SSD, and my Fraps is installed on the WD green drive. My question is: what might be slowing things down? Thanks in advance.
Fraps is commonly recognized for triggering frame drops during video recordings.
Attempted OBS but encountered a black screen during recording, likely due to my actions; I'll review it the next day.
he once used fraps to record, and he wondered why uploading to youtube felt so slow. he noticed his data limit hit quickly—200GB for just 30 minutes of video. with 1080p resolution, 60 frames per second, and a 60-second clip, that’s about 625GB of raw data. (ps: a high-quality 1080p film is around 1.25GB for half an hour). congratulations on using fraps, you definitely put in the effort!
Search YouTube for tutorials and visit OBS's official website for comprehensive instructions. A quick search for "how to use OBS" will provide useful, detailed resources. Understanding OBS's features is essential since it offers unique functionality compared to other tools.
Run OBS alongside VCE. 3. Install MSI Afterburner with RTSS 6.4.0, then set it to support AMD AMF VCE.
WD Greens aren't ideal for regular tasks. Best suited as a backup or media storage solution. Avoid using the 5400rpm drive in any situation. Standard WD Blues and Blacks run at 7200rpm.
