Documentation on Windows Corruption Issues
I assembled a computer and it experienced several power interruptions along with frequent CTRL+ALT+DELETE actions over the past month. Recently, CPU usage reached 100% and the anti-malware program consumed most of the processing power. Running "sfc /scannow" in the command prompt revealed corrupted files that were fixed, and usage returned to normal. I’m looking for information on when those files became corrupted—any logs showing timestamps or dates? Your concern is understandable.
It's unclear precisely when the file became corrupted, but it might connect to one of your service interruptions. Microsoft SFC should have logged the issue, allowing you to identify affected files and repairs: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/trouble...le-entries
I wouldn't be overly concerned. I've handled previous Windows updates, and the sfc /scannow tool will flag any issues.
