Hello everyone, I’m facing an issue with my six identical system units. They have the following specifications: >Gigabyte a320m-s2h >AMD A8 9600k >8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport. These devices have been idle for about six months due to lockdowns and quarantine measures related to COVID-19. Now they won’t power on at all—no voltage reaching the motherboard, not even the fan spinning. After cleaning the RAM and other troubleshooting steps, I managed to fix them, but after a day off, some units stopped working again. I’m frustrated because I didn’t investigate further before trying to restart them. Please help me out. Thank you.

Purchase new batteries for all motherboards; they're affordable CR2032 units and readily available. Remove all components except the CPU power cable and the 24-pin connector, then attach a monitor to the built-in video output (assuming the CPU includes a video card). Try powering it by touching the power switch pins in the front panel header with a metal tool. If the fan starts or activates, everything seems correct. Store it back safely and verify connections to prevent shorts. The motherboard lists 17 BIOS versions on the download page—some older releases may lack support for Bristol Ridge, while newer BIOS updates often reinstate it. It’s wise to confirm your current BIOS version and consider testing with a standard Ryzen CPU if needed.

I've already attempted to swap the CMOS batteries but had no success. The new PSU (Corsair CV450) didn't help either. I'll give your advice another try next time and borrow a Ryzen processor for my friend. Thanks.
