I have a Dell USB-C docking station WD15 that functions properly with my old Dell laptop. Now I own a new LG Gram laptop and am attempting to connect the dock, but it doesn’t work. The power switch on the dock doesn’t activate the LG laptop. To turn it on, I must open the cover and press the internal power button. Is this a model-specific protocol or does LG not include such a feature in their laptops? Are there other dock options available that could support this? Thank you.

I believe the power button is only functional on Dell laptops. Checking online confirms that LG does not produce their own docking solutions for laptops, and the suggested ones typically lack a power button.
