I am transitioning from an Asus Rog G751JT-WH71(WX) to an MSI GS63 Stealth 8RE. This upgrade should offer a more suitable laptop compared to what I currently own? The GPU appears superior, but I notice many different models sharing the same name. I’m hoping to check if the CPU is better, though I can’t locate it on cpubenchmark.net. Details from the specs:
ASUS

MSI

Alright,
Lemme slove your problem
You can buy a regular laptop between 200-300 dollers.
And,
If you wanna gaming while traveling then buy a gaming console.
The best portable Gaming console is
Nintendo Switch.
Because it can be docked on TV also it can be handled console while traveling.

My initial concern is
Why are you purchasing a gaming laptop?
Because nowadays, you can create a powerful gaming PC with this budget. A laptop isn't really suitable for gaming. Don't squander your money, friend. This money was meant for building a gaming PC, and that would be truly worthwhile.
Gaming laptops usually offer lower performance compared to gaming PCs.

Traveling and studying are the primary reasons. However, I understand that staying in one place might be better for getting a desktop, even though it may not suit my needs.

What are the specifications of the CPU and graphics card in the system? The link to the ASUS details is not accessible.

I remember when I was in college having the same passing thought—your desktop in your dorm or apartment will be a much better option.
I rarely used my laptop for classes anyway, and the "home" configuration felt more comfortable in my dorm.
If you really want to, consider building an ITX system.
