It seems the system is marked as Windows 10.0 because of leftover files or settings from previous installations, not just a simple version. The label might reflect lingering data rather than an active OS.

This seems unusual because it’s unclear whether the file was moved or if it remains in its original place.

It's essentially just a wrapper around version 10 with some extra functionality. This appears to be a patch that could cause issues if removed. Be careful deleting any Windows files—make sure you understand what you're doing and consider scanning it with Malwarebytes before proceeding. If you have access, uploading it to VirusTotal can provide broader analysis. I'm curious about how this file ended up there—it seems unusual.

It's a KB update for .NET framework. W11 is based on W10, a lot of things, particularly KB updates will still say W10. You see the same thing on Server 2019 and such, all of the KB updates .cab and .msu files are named w10. Overall, completely fine, normal file to have. You might find it disappears after installing Windows updates and rebooting.

It was positioned at the very top of the C: drive. I wasn’t fully aware that Windows 11 was essentially a redesigned version of Windows 10.

It's strange, but as mentioned earlier, it might be an update that will vanish on its own. You could check it with MalwareScan or Windows Defender (avoid other antivirus tools unless you're sure), but I wouldn't risk it right now. It feels quite typical except for the unusual place it's in.

File contents are clear now, let's keep it simple.
The data shows straightforward information.
Feel free to adjust as needed.
