You're considering revisiting some titles on Steam. It seems you've already spent quite a bit on these games—over $100 total—and are curious about their current value. Given your interest in trying them on PC, it might be worth checking the prices and availability there before making a decision.
Avoid purchasing Call of Duty for PC. Very few people play it. The game quality is poor. It's not worth it, particularly on the computer.
I’d prefer not to run Cod on the PC; I’d rather enjoy it on the consoles. Although the PC is a powerful machine for console gaming, the gap is minimal when playing Cod.
I understand the point about newer CoD versions, but classic titles like CoD2 and CoD4 perform better on PC thanks to mod support. I purchased CoD4 a while back because of promod. It seems MW2 didn’t live up to expectations since there are no dedicated servers, though I’m not sure if that’s accurate. I doubt I’ll buy them again, maybe someday when they drop significantly—probably not in my lifetime.
I wouldn't go for it. The CoDs on Steam, including CoD4: Modern Warfare, cost more than $20 each. That seems unreasonable for Steam.
Call of Duty and discounts shouldn't overlap with Steam and sale listings
