Occasionally with friends. We play when steam is off (then we can't play CSGO). I used to be more into Roblox, that's what I played more of, since my dad didn't let me buy Minecraft until I had good grades. Also, I haven't moved to Fortnite yet, but CSGO still has my heart.

Well, it's similar to Fortnite in that regard; the game isn't terrible, and the main focus of the community is around it. I still play it occasionally.

I play Minecraft more than any other game, honestly. It’s been improving a lot over time. I enjoy exploring my mines while listening to podcasts. I have a few favorite worlds, mostly because I put a lot of effort into them—like creating at least five backups for each. Statistically, Fortnight probably has more players than Minecraft. Sure, younger people might prefer Fortnight now, but I believe most current players still stick with Minecraft. I once saw a meme suggesting Bob Ross would enjoy Minecraft, imagining him reacting to a creeper destroying part of his house. I don’t think Minecraft is fading away soon; there’s always something new to make and build in it.

I occasionally play it now, mainly for a relaxed game that doesn't require much graphics.
It remains one of my top favorites, especially because it was a big part of my childhood. I started playing it around age 10, and I enjoyed many of the Pocket Edition versions in school with friends.

I just don't find any fun anymore since I've played so much. It's not great because my friends stopped playing, and servers often close quickly—either because they're world-wide or allow bad behavior. Plus, the only version I care about needs Java, and I won't tolerate security issues on my computer again.

Who is playing and who isn't?
I don't play since it's quite dull (due to lots of previous sessions), and honestly, the game feels pretty much done now.

I never played Minecraft. I tried it for a day and didn’t enjoy it. I feel like an outsider. I believe my childhood was spent on Atari and NES, which had graphics similar to that era, so they didn’t appeal to me. Maybe I’ll try Minecraft someday. It could lead to awkward talks with my 10-year-old. "Hey, can you help me understand this game?" lol.

Minecraft remains a widely enjoyed game, particularly among younger players such as tweens and young teens. It still holds appeal for older teens and adults as well. However, it has become outdated, which means there isn't much discussion around it anymore. Those who still play don’t engage in much conversation and simply play on their own servers. I personally haven’t played the game extensively. We set up a Minecraft server at work (Public Library) for members to use, and I participated briefly during testing and deployment. It’s an enjoyable experience, but I often face challenges with sandbox games that lack clear guidance, leaving me uncertain about what to do next.

Dude that's not awkward, it's a great chance to connect with your kid (assuming they're still into Minecraft). Set up a server at home, play together, and let them assist you in learning the game.
