He shouldn't purchase a tangible item for that. Suggest reinstalling Windows or creating your own password stripper USB stick. (I'd advise a fresh install to clear any demo software or debris.)

Obtain a Windows installation USB drive. Power off the USB stick and adhere to the provided steps to erase the current laptop drive, then install Windows. Completed! ^ This process is quite a simplification.
