I reside in Indonesia and am considering assembling a PC using a Ryzen 2200g processor and a b450m motherboard. My budget is approximately 400-600k IDR, which is around 20-35 dollars. I would greatly appreciate feedback from a local Indonesian forum member on this discussion.

I know you're not in Indonesia and understand your budget constraints. A low-cost PSU can fail, which might damage other parts and waste the money you spent. A reliable PSU safeguards your computer and protects your investment. You don't need a high-end brand; what matters most is the warranty length—aim for at least three years, but if you can afford five years, go for it. The warranty gives insight into the product's quality and dependability. Another key feature is overload protection, which cheap PSUs often miss. If you can stretch your budget to 800k, I've seen a Cooler Master Psu Mwe Bronze 550 V2 that fits the bill...

I’m not located in Indonesia, but I know you have a limited budget. A low-cost PSU can fail and cause damage to other parts when it malfunctions. A reliable PSU safeguards your computer and protects the investment you’ve made. For your setup, you don’t need an extremely powerful PSU; brand is less important than the warranty length. A minimum of three years is ideal, but a five-year warranty is even better if possible. The warranty gives insight into the product’s quality and dependability. Overload protection is another key feature—cheap PSUs often lack it. You might consider raising your budget to 800k. I’ve seen a Cooler Master Psu Mwe Bronze 550 V2 for that amount, which seems like a reasonable choice if you can manage the cost. Other options include Corsair Cv Series Cv450 (700k) and MSI Mag A550Bn (700k). Avoid brands like Gamemax, Enlight, Aerocool, and stick to trusted names. I checked the prices on this store: https://iprice.co.id/enlight/komputer/pe...ce.net_asc. Many inexpensive models are unreliable; hope you can afford a better PSU and maybe find one at a discount. Good luck!

Thank you for your message. I believe raising the budget to 800k isn't feasible, and it seems you're likely considering the tier C PSUs from the cultist. You also found some options for the MSI Mag A550BN and discovered a good deal on it at a local online marketplace. Thanks for your reply!

MSI Mag A550BN is a solid option when you're not relying on a dedicated graphics card.
