You don’t necessarily need a new screw for your NVME SSD if you follow the instructions in the attached image. Just make sure to match the fasteners and handle them carefully.

It's only the part that supports the M.2 slot, you'll require a screw from your motherboard case (or any CM2x3-3.3 screw).

I understand now, thanks for clarifying. I was a bit embarrassed not knowing before... Appreciate the guidance! (Since I don’t have a motherboard, I’ll look in my dad’s toolbox to see if I can find a compatible screw or order one online.)

The SSD arrived today, but it came without the screw. The replacement part is expected in about five days. Is it okay to operate it for five days without the screw, or should you hold off?
