Good day,
My setup purchased in 2020 (now 2023 for the graphics card) is this:
CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K, 10x 3.7 GHz, 20MB L3 Cache
MBO: MSI Z490 GAMING CARBON WIFI, So. 1200
GRA: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (MSI Gaming X Trio)
RAM: 16GB DDR4-3200, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, Rev. S (2x16GB = 32GB)
Storage: 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, M.2 PCIe (MZ-V7S1T0E)
It still plays most games smoothly but I’m concerned about potential bottlenecks.
Should I consider upgrading or can I continue using it for a while?
Thank you

With that configuration I strongly suspect you wouldn't require an upgrade unless you're aiming for every frame. The greater the resolution you use, the less critical this becomes. HUB shared a fascinating video about scaling, resolutions, and CPUs recently:

It might be worth considering an upgrade to the newest compatible i9 CPU.

I believe the only improved CPU compatible with this model is the 11900K, which doesn't seem like a good investment. I could be mistaken.

You're right, swapping the motherboard, CPU, DRAM and possibly the cooler wouldn't be worthwhile. It's still a solid setup. The older test rig used a 5800X which should match your performance, though they've moved to a 14900K for now. You can look at some of the results from that platform for comparison (some tests have changed, but a few are similar). For the 4090, there are a few comparable tests you might find useful (like the BFV tests). Here are the links:

Do you have any more advanced graphics cards available for upgrading?

If you're satisfied, leave it as is.
If you're bored, run your tasks and monitor CPU/GPU/RAM activity.

You become concerned about things that don't exist. Begin worrying once you face a genuine challenge.
