Got all the necessary utilities ready, but performance dropped once Norton accessed them.
Believed disk compression software wouldn’t damage my hard drive if used moderately.
Discovered some floppy drives with PC Tools included.

Yes, I bought all versions for many years. I might still have a floppy with PCTOOLS on it somewhere.
