Hey, I'm running a Gigabyte A320m-s2h with 8gb of RAM at 3200MHz in dual channel mode. When I look at the BIOS settings, it's showing me that my memory is actually being run at 2666MHz instead of what I expected. Should I enable XMP to force it back up to 3200? There are three choices here: Disable Profile, Profile One, and Profile Two.

Here is the page about memory support for your motherboards. I guess you have a 3200g processor. You need to look at that long list and check what your RAM actually is, but just taking a quick look, I think the fastest speed your CPU supports is 2666 MHz.

So scared to try new stuff, I am just being careful because it won't hurt my computer, right?

It won't hurt your computer, but you have to enable XMP in your profile settings for the RAM to work at its full speed.

Do you have a RAM stick set up? You might want to try using Profile 2 instead.

What does a ram kit mean? I am testing my new PC with an Avexir 3200 OC 2x8gb ram right now, but I haven't finished putting it all together yet.

First try using profile 2, then see if your RAM shows up in your motherboard's QVL list.

I tested option two and got that same list of numbers, which are all set to 2660mhz.
