I'm going to kind of go into nerd speak here but bear with me...
I've recently finished off comissioning my new system, and have decided to do some sea trails on it. Operation OC. This CPU is the venerable 3570k...
Now, this is mad. I have pushed up the multiplyer to 43 which I'm happy with. That's a modest but decent 900 Mhz gain. Here's the bit that's got me miffed. Voltage under load... 1.140 @ 100% CPU-Z on all cores using Prime 95. 4.3 Ghz ?!?! Stable. 0.930V - 0.980V when idle.
Seriously?! That voltage is ridiculous, I was expecting a shade under 1.3 V, maybe 1.25 on a sunny day. Worse still, I've left the CPU voltage on my UD5H on 'Auto'. So perhaps I could theoretically try and push down further still.
3570k @ 4.3 Ghz 1.100 V anyone?! lol.

Wow, looks like you've put in your own effort there.
I'm just a beginner and not a big gamer or power user. Still, I was lucky to find it on eBay for £78 and get the wonder chip? That's a waste for me! Now I feel like I should send this Rajintek Themis back, grab a watercooling kit, and push well above 5 Ghz, lol.
