Do you need help picking a music streaming service?
I am creating a new personal Google account. But now I want to cut down on using Google for some parts of my digital life. Back when I used Google's Play Music Service, I could buy songs, upload my library, make playlists, and listen from my phones and tablets. It took me too long before because switching between Apple and Google or making a new account was hard. I decided to stop uploading music to YouTube Music or making playlists there. Instead, I want a service that is reliable and trustworthy no matter what mobile or computer system I use (switching from Android to Apple or the other way around). I need something where I can find new artists and songs in their library, upload my own collection, listen whenever I want—even if they don't have all my tracks. I also want to download, save, and share playlists on my phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop, and it should work with Windows 10/11, Mac OS/iOS, and Android, plus Amazon devices like Alexa and Echo. I've heard of services like Pandora and Spotify. My guess is that I can upload music to Spotify but not to Pandora. But I don't really know this industry well enough yet, so please give me some good suggestions. I am okay with paying a monthly fee. Since I have a converter program and most of my songs are in FLAC format, I could create copies of them that work with the service if needed. Again, because I'm not very familiar with music streaming services, I would appreciate your recommendations. Thanks in advance.
I have a copy of my music library on Amazon (it goes along with my Prime membership). How we call it "streaming," there are apps like Amazon Music for iPhone, Android, and a Windows computer.
