Hello everyone, here are the details of my system:
i7 7700K
ASRock Z270 Taichi (2017)
2 x 8gb DDR$ SDRAM Corsair vengance 3000 mhz
Samsung SSD 256GB
Zotac RTX GeForce 3060 12 GB gddr6
I had the chance to travel to the USA and decided to upgrade my PC. I think I should replace the motherboard and possibly add more 2 x 8GB of RAM. What are your thoughts?
Do you have any suggestions for a better motherboard?

Would you consider improving your CPU/MBO/ram with newer parts? What is your budget for this?
What kinds of games do you enjoy playing?
With these upgrades, I’d also like to add an aftermarket cooler, assuming you don’t already have one. How does that sound?

I believe my main focus should be on the mobo first, then the RAM, and finally the cpu.
Normally I play LOL, SC2, and games such as F1 and Hogwartz Legacy. But these last two I managed to play in very low quality, which is why upgrading is what I’m aiming for.
My situation is a bit generic but solid, though I haven’t decided to change it soon.
For the budget, I’d prefer a mid-tier setup. I recall spending about 180 U$D on this one; buying it back would cost around 270 U$D, so that’s a good range.
If you could suggest a set of MoBo and RAM, it would be perfect.

The matter is that switching to a different or newer motherboard would necessitate at least a new CPU. If you intend to retain your DDR4 RAM to cut costs, and if you choose to move to DDR5, it would be a more costly choice. It doesn’t make sense to upgrade your motherboard with the CPU you already have; you won’t see any performance gains. You should consider a full system upgrade—CPU, motherboard, and possibly RAM.

It seems you're questioning whether it's worth investing 500 in a motherboard and CPU.

You're facing a situation where upgrade options are limited to RAM, and investing in that would not significantly improve your setup. You already possess the top CPU compatible with your board, and a superior motherboard wouldn't enhance performance. Your main path forward is rebuilding from scratch—though selling old parts might yield some small returns.
