Do you need disk management tools based on US standards?
I’d like to eliminate EaseUS solutions. Are there any US-based companies offering backup, partition management, or HDD management software that perform similarly? EaseUS products are strong, but their support quality is a significant drawback. Please share any thoughts or feedback. Also, I’m not seeking free options; I’m open to paid software from reliable US providers.
Among the well-known companies offering consumer solutions, Macrium Reflect stands out as the closest match.
I own around four of their PC/Windows applications, all with paid or lifetime licenses. Over the past five years, I've only sent them a few messages—about five total. Recently, a sixth one came through via email, and they sent me a message saying, "We'll help you if you pay $149 for our VIP service..." I'm a retired end-user, not a business. That really worries me.
Macrium seems more aligned with an enterprise or support-oriented business model, unlike EaseUS which is primarily focused on home users and basic Windows/Linux applications, typically offering software under $50-100 per unit. This suggests a company with a professional or corporate direction, similar to Acronis, MiniTool Partition Wizard, or Paragon Partition Manager. It appears there might be a US-based provider offering this type of paid hard-disk management software for end users.
