Do you need assistance with the Broken Windows BootLoader issue?
Hello, everyone. I’m seeking advice for my situation. Yesterday, after restarting my desktop, it failed to boot on Windows. I can’t enter safe mode, and the Windows logo isn’t displayed. After checking, here’s what the Windows 10 USB Recovery Tool shows: System Restore from 3 days ago failed, couldn’t restore. Only one option remains. I tried uninstalling recent updates and features, but both attempts failed. I completed a full format and rebuilt the Windows Boot Loader using BCEDIT, assigning a new letter to the 2 GB partition. Still, Windows doesn’t start. My M.2 970 Plus 1TB appears fine; I can see the Windows 10 installer, user login, documents folder, installed files, and games. Currently, I’m using my old 970 Evo 500GB drive. What should I do to preserve my documents and files? Are there other ways to boot Windows 10 on this 970 Evo Plus? Is my recovery system set to Volume 1 D: 500MB, NTFS? Please see the attached video for guidance on fixing the UEFI Windows Boot Loader. My motherboard is X570 UD Rev 1.0, Gigabyte Bios Version F37c. Thanks for any help.
Have you tried this? (functioned for me once). Volume 2 was prepared beforehand. (no harm expected). Just be sure to pick the right volume!
I attempt it but I’m confused about the BCD result.
It displays “windows\syatem32\winload.efi” and says UEFi Only in BIOS support.
It appears your bootloader isn't functioning correctly. The installation process wasn't the issue.
It seems your partitions are in disarray. The 100Mb and 509MB recovery files appear to be intact, but the 930GB primary is affected.
The system started without additional actions. The boot process used the image shown in the attached screenshot.
