Hello, in GtaV I notice my game frequently freezes after just a couple of seconds and then restarts. It seems to jump from around 100 frames per second to a complete halt for about a second. I’m looking for a way to fix this issue. Thanks.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition? Heavy past and current use for gaming, video editing, or bit-mining?
Drives: especially the boot drive - how full?
You can use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance.
Use both tools but only one at a time.
First observe what the system is doing when not gaming and then observe again while gaming.
Determine what system resources are being used, to what extent (%), and what is using any given resource.
Post accordingly.
