It looks like you could be missing some room because the size listed is 241mm, and I’m wondering if that fits everything inside. The part referred to as the "cage" is the entire unit housing the HDD.

You'd need to check compatibility before proceeding. The cage is the metal structure surrounding the HDD. Taking it off allows placing the HDD inside.
