Hi everyone!
I’m searching for a brand new keyboard (no used ones) within a budget of about 250 Euros.
So far, I’ve been using a Fnatic Streak model. I’ve thought about replacing it multiple times, but it never worked out. Then yesterday my wife gave it the final push with a cup of tea, and now it’s saying goodbye.
The new keyboard will be used every day, mainly for gaming, but also for regular tasks like browsing the internet, using Word, Excel, etc.
My main challenge is choosing the right type. The Fnatic was mechanical with quiet red switches, which I liked, but I’m also very attached to the feel of Apple keyboards. I’d prefer a mechanical keyboard but want the quietest switches possible.
I don’t have a specific model in mind, but I really like the design of Razer and Steelseries.
I definitely need an ISO layout.
If possible, I’d like either a full-size or TKL model.
One more thing: the keyboard should have backlighting and be quiet.
If you have any further details, I’ll do my best to reply. Thanks for your support!

With a budget of approximately 250 Euros
Where are you situated (please refrain from mentioning Europe) and which platform do you favor for buying?
Last night my dear wife gave it the final decision with a cup of tea, so now she’s saying goodbye to us.
To cut costs, you might consider placing the keyboard in an ultrasonic cleaner for a thorough cleaning. If her tea contained sugar, the ultrasonic cleaner could help remove it from the keyboard/PCB layers.
I’m confident you should have access to someone providing cleaning services using an ultrasonic cleaner.
