It doesn’t appear there’s much activity for the fans, especially during the spin-up phase. A bit of advice would be helpful.

sounds like a bad bearing in one of the fans.. try to stop the fans by pressing on the hub in the middle to hear if any of them changes. your PSU has a fan too.. check if it has a green button that turns off the fan.. and for your cpu cooler, pull out the pwm plug to test it

It seems like a component that's grinding or slipping. The simplest approach is to check each one individually, using software if possible or testing physically with your hands.

Many motherboards require a connected CPU fan for proper startup. Ensure there is a connection to the fan header—this could be a dedicated CPU fan or another case fan.

He can extract it once the system boots up. My thought was it’s tough to halt it manually in that setup. However, it might depend on the motherboard—then overheating could become a problem.

I believe it's fine to apply pressure to the CPU without a fan, as long as it isn't under heavy strain. Issues arise mainly when the system is stressed.

With an air cooler installed, you should handle temperatures long enough to identify if your CPU fan is the issue. That approach isn't wise—disconnecting a live fan could cause damage.

it's being checked for issues... he can keep the board connected in BIOS for whatever reason. if he tried to disconnect the 8-pin CPU or 24-pin PCIe, the system would still shut down. Pulling the PWM connector shouldn't cause problems. The main barrier is the PWM signal; if it's coming from the CPU, BIOS will notify unless monitoring is adjusted.

Hey team, seems to be a GPU fan. It's only been around a month, so I'm returning it with the warranty.
