Do you know the pin configuration for the LGA 1200 socket, especially for the Z490 ARUS master CPU?
I became overly enthusiastic and took the socket out too quickly. The top left of the socket is where the PCI lanes are closest to you. I reviewed the data sheet, but there was no diagram available. All other information I found seemed incorrect. Could someone clarify whether these pads without traces are intended for grounding or support, even if they don’t serve a functional purpose?
It seems the pads were damaged, and all orange components are missing. I wondered if the parts without traces were removed for structure or if the traces needed fixing. The ones with traces are fixable, but the others are unclear.
They are quite alike yet distinct, 1200 features the same pins but with a few additional ones in another arrangement. Torn pads tend to be difficult to replace, so it might be better to purchase a new one, as most repair services can't handle that.
I thought so. I was just hoping someone could offer a suggestion.
Most should work easily, except for one that’s curled—hope it’s a pin for a non-primary RAM slot.
