It still provides better I/O through 11 USB-A ports instead of the limited 6 on the Tomahawk X670E. The Tomahawk is a mid-range model, often outperformed by competitors in I/O, which is crucial since most have VRM voltages above 200V. In fact, its I/O is generally worse than the B650, making the upgrade options more compelling.
These options offer solid performance without breaking the bank. The Asus TUF Gaming X670E-Plus and B650e-e are both budget-friendly choices with decent features.
PCIe 5 storage offers no real benefit unless you actually need the high-speed performance. This applies to PCIe 4 as well.
