Accidentally bought a 500w psu without much thought, want to know if it's sufficient
Planning to boost CPU and GPU performance, feel like I made a mistake

It should be sufficient, that's a good PSU. The 1070 isn't overly power-hungry, even when overclocked. You should be all right.
