When I turn on both my HP 15 laptop's 3.5mm audio jack and the HDMI video port at the same time, I hear a loud buzzing sound from the speakers. How can I stop this? I'm playing music through those speakers.

Do you make or model audio gear? Which HDMI device are you using? For your laptop, tell me exactly which one it is so I can help you better. While we're at it, check the CPU-Z software to see what your current BIOS version says under the "Mainboard" tab. Take that serial number from your laptop and go to HP's support site to get a custom page for you there. Use both the CPU-Z info and HP's support info to see if there are any pending BIOS updates coming up.

I have these three audio gear items: Yamaha BR12 speakers, Mackie 1402-VLZ Pro soundboard, HP 15-f271wm laptop. I actually updated my BIOS to the newest version. My HDMI device is a Vizio TV but the model number isn't written on it and how it's attached makes me unable to see what it is called.
