It's unclear whether this laptop model works with your setup. Without details about the machine—such as its processor type, RAM amount, or storage size—it's difficult to assess compatibility accurately. A quick search might reveal it could range from a basic Celeron to a more powerful i7, but you need more specifics for a reliable answer.

It’s mentioned in the thread title. The device has 4GB of RAM built-in and can accommodate up to 12GB overall. Adding more memory might help with editing. For storage details, refer to the information below, though I’m not sure it will significantly impact performance.

Check your task manager by right-clicking the dock and selecting it. Navigate to the performance section to see what activities are running on your system. If your CPU is fully utilized, upgrading the SSD won't help much since the CPU is the bottleneck. However, if your RAM usage is at its limit, an SSD—especially an M2 model—might improve performance. Make sure to verify your RAM usage; 16GB is typical now, but 32GB would be even better. Usually, the CPU (processor) is the main issue here, as laptops often have less powerful chips compared to desktops.

4GB of RAM wow, how does that thing even function? No wonder the resolution is lagging, I bet there’s more going on than just this one issue. If that’s the case, upgrading RAM will really change things. You should consider it right away. I have 32GB and think 16GB would be sufficient for most users, but 4GB won’t work at all in my opinion. Once you upgrade, it’ll make a huge difference—your PC will finally get the performance it deserves.

The machine includes 4GB of built-in RAM, though there could be additional slots available. The seller hasn't confirmed this. I'm referencing the specifications from Lenovo's manual for that model.
