It is indeed an 8-pin CPU cable that divides into four pairs of four pins each.

you've already connected 8, so the additional 4 isn't necessary unless you lack the matching connector. this extra power is meant for advanced overclocking and isn't required for regular use. always include quotes when replying so others can see the notification
