Do you have some other options for a good key scrambler that I can check?
Hi I am looking for a good program to stop keylogging spying. I used Keyscrambler before but it caused 3 or 4 blue screens in just a few months, so I turned it off permanently. Maybe my old Windows 10 version was the problem because it's like 2004? Can you suggest another option for me? Should I try going back to Keyscrambler on this new computer after all those issues happened? Thanks!
A good antivirus program that doesn't download anything from the internet is all you need to stay safe.
There is a tool called Zemana AntiLogger that has an Oxynger Keyshield feature along with protected text like Safenotes.
@USAFRet Add one extra shield to my passwords, especially my main Gmail and code signing cert. It won't cause any harm... unless it causes BSODs while using Keyscrambler.
@USAFRet I am thinking about this situation where a virus sneaks past my antivirus, which isn't that impossible looking at the real-world test numbers from AV-Comparatives. Some tests show up to 1% of threats slipping by reputable antiviruses. In that rare case something goes wrong, I try to minimize the damage. Any input? Thanks.
Well... no antivirus, no anti-malware, or no anti-keylogger software can ever be 100% sure to stop everything. The questions are: Why is your username and password sitting right there in plain text? Why aren't these passwords protected by two-factor authentication? What exactly are you doing online that makes a keylogger attack a real problem for you?
