Do you have problems with your memory settings in Adobe Creative Cloud?
I'm using Windows 11 with a Creative Cloud subscription. All the latest versions are installed, such as AE, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc., and no additional add-ons are present. I have 64GB of RAM on a 12-core processor. My preferred memory allocation is 40GB for Adobe applications (leaving 24GB for other tasks). When adjusting the 24/40 ratio in After Effects settings, I notice random changes if I close and reopen the program. Sometimes it restores everything to zero for other programs, with AE consuming all available RAM, or it sets Adobe to 56GB and others to 6GB. This setting remained consistent after the first time I changed it, but it keeps fluctuating now. I even updated all my apps today and reset preferences, but the issue persists. Anyone else experienced this problem?
Refer to the "Let Photoshop Manage Memory" part. Adjust the registry entry to 40000, which is the maximum it will use when necessary. It’s unclear if this applies to other Adobe applications, and it may be required for each program individually.
