Hey guys, I'm having trouble with my IdeaPad Flex 5 laptop and need your help here TL;DR: 1. Some driver problem making the screen full of weird marks and it's unusable now. 2. After updating the BIOS, the computer won't turn on at all (screen lights up but no picture). A little history: One month ago the screen started acting up and a week later I fixed it with my warranty. Yesterday when I did the Windows 11 update, the video signal had lots of weird stuff on it. The bad stuff only showed up on the laptop screen, but if I connected to a TV or monitor, everything looked fine. I tried deleting the graphics drivers and that worked for a few seconds after restarting. Anything else showing up before the boot worked too (BIOS screen). I decided to reinstall Windows and the screen was perfect for about 30 minutes then it started distorting again. Because I reinstalled Windows I downloaded all the driver files from the lenovo site and tried installing them one by one hoping one would fix this. I updated the BIOS from the lenovo website and now the laptop won't even start anymore. I'd appreciate any help to get this working again

Yesterday I had my laptop run a Windows 11 update, but now the video picture on the screen is acting weird with lots of bumps or lines in it. If your computer isn't running Windows 11 yet and you just upgraded to it, you should restart using a special USB stick that comes from Microsoft's official tools. This can help fix any hidden problems inside the system. The bad artifacts were only showing up when I plugged in an external monitor; watching the video on the screen looked okay without that extra display attached. This suggests there is a problem with the laptop's physical panel, not with the graphics card...unless your laptop has its own powerful graphics chip built directly onto the motherboard. Your laptop has an emergency reset button right at the bottom of the device. You'll need something sharp like a paperclip or a pin to poke it inside. Just hold that spot down for thirty seconds and try turning the power back on afterward.

Yeah, I did that but after about thirty minutes the screen started acting up again. Yeah, that's what I thought too. Why does this happen only when the Windows is on? Even the installation of Windows had no problems or glitches. It looks like you were looking at the wrong Flex 5 model; mine has a reset button on the left side of the laptop. I tried holding it down for thirty seconds many times, but nothing helped. Thanks so much for your reply!
