Do you have any suggestions on why your PC shuts down during graphically demanding games (KERNAL POWER 41)?

When I play graphically demanding games such as Elden Ring, my PC shuts down unexpectedly after a short while. However, switching to the GTX 1650 works without problems. Many believe my previous power supply was defective, so I replaced it with a 750W EVGA model, but the issue persists. At this stage, I’m unsure how to resolve it. Additionally, during a Furmark test, temperatures reached 80°C on the GPU and 102°C at the hotspot. Each crash logs a kernel power event.

Kernal Power 41 experienced an unexpected power drop after a hard reset. Reviewing the preceding events helps identify the root cause. The new power supply wasn't ideal, which might still be contributing. The wattage rating isn't the only factor to consider. The temperature of 102C suggests insufficient airflow within the case. Without at least two unobstructed fans for intake and one for exhaust, the system could be overheating. Consider removing the side panel. Another option is to limit GPU power consumption, as even small reductions can prevent overheating while keeping performance stable.
MSI Afterburner is typically the preferred software. Power and/or temperature thresholds can be adjusted. Voltage settings are also possible. For example, I use a 350W GPU with a 280W limit and still achieve most of the results. (My case isn’t ideal since temperature isn’t a factor, it’s water cooled) However, air users have also modified voltage and power limits to boost performance at lower power. This depends on how the silicon performs under low voltage. Regarding the PSU, if you’re using a high-end GPU, you definitely need a reliable power supply. It’s possible the overheating is the real problem, and there are no sensors to detect it. Lowering the GPU load might help in that situation.
Yes, it could be related to my PSU I haven't considered before, but I don't see any cause for it to overheat. Another point that came to mind is my specific GPU model has three fans, each with its own heat sink; the one near the ports is slightly bent down by 3 cm. The fan under it spins fine, but could this be a problem? Should I think about reapplying thermal pads and paste? Also, I forgot that this card was purchased used.
I've already refreshed my bios to the newest release.
My computer suddenly powers off without warning, fans stop, the monitor turns black, but with the USB Bluetooth dongle connected and the LED still lit, power remains supplied via case. After about five minutes it restarts and prompts me to go to bios or something, XMP is disabled and I have to turn it back on each time it shuts down.

Does your pc case have mesh front or closed front (acrylic/glass/whatever)?
Also, during the troubleshooting phase, consider ordering a replacement motherboard battery. The issue with XMP disabling repeatedly is concerning, especially since the motherboard was recently available in August 2020.

: It would be wise to contact Asus as well, since the motherboard might qualify for a standard three-year warranty; TUF models offer five years.
