My Signature has all the info I need to know what parts I'm running right now. For my power supply, it's a CX-750M semi-modular ATX unit and I still have a key that works well. From what I've heard, the free copy of Windows gives everything you'll ever need and never ends up breaking (though I'm not 100% sure about that anymore). There are some comments online from people who've used this for years with no problems at all.
I looked around a little on the 5700x3d and saw how the price keeps rising for a chip at its highest level with DDR4. It actually costs less right now than what I have, but that's because there aren't many Ryzen 5 3600x chips left to sell. The real boost in performance is only about 15%.
The budget isn't really a big worry right now, but I'd still hope people aren't suggesting things way overpriced when a cheaper or better option exists. I'm seeking some ideas because I've tried finding them myself, though I could use more opinions from folks with more experience on specific parts than I do. Thanks for all the suggestions already, and those explanations are really helpful to me.
