Check if all the components listed are compatible with your GIGABYTE B550I AORUS PRO AX motherboard. Your current setup works well, so this model should also function properly. The B550 is simply a more recent version of the design.

Might struggle with this, need to check out openrgb, the rest will be fine, 550 support has existed for a very long time.

It shouldn't be an issue. The components will function well for many years, as shown by my 9900K machine still working or the 4760K I passed on to my nephew, who’s still using it for his YT channel. Upgrading any motherboard should last a long time. Are you planning to simply swap out the motherboard for a new one?
