This unit offers solid build quality (Tier A-) and comes with a 10-year warranty. You won't find a more durable PSU for the same price. Although 850W is higher than expected, the additional 100W capacity is worthwhile unless you prefer smaller power supplies.
In modern systems, Intel CPUs tend to overheat, especially since the 13th generation. These CPUs concentrate heat in one area, causing hotspot problems. AMD AM5 CPUs distribute heat more evenly across the chipset, making them cooler overall. For example, an Intel (LGA1700, i7-13700K) CPU can generate up to 322W of heat, while an AMD (AM5, R9 7900X) CPU stays at around 240W:

This suggests a better cooling solution is needed for Intel chips rather than AMD ones.
The entire Core Ultra 200 line performs poorly; you'll get superior value with the AMD Ryzen 9000 series.

A psu only takes the power it needs, no matter its maximum capacity.
A more powerful psu, such as one with 850w, makes sense.
The additional expense is usually small.
The psu performs better when it operates in the middle of its range.
A stronger psu can support a future graphics card upgrade, which is the most probable upgrade for a gamer.
Avoid buying a PSU cheaply. A unit with a 10-year warranty tends to offer good quality.
Ultra 5 225 includes a suitable RM2 laminar flow cooler.
I recommend testing it firsthand. I’ve used them before and they work well, the fan spins faster but makes almost no noise. You can swap it later if needed.
6/8 case fans might be excessive.
Choose a case you like. Having space for two 140mm front intakes or three 120mm intakes will provide enough cooling airflow.
Le performance est limitée à seulement la consommation de RAM à 4800 MHz. Si le RAM est capable de fonctionner à cette vitesse, c'est celle que je souhaite. La seule raison d'avoir 4800 MHz est que j'ai gagné ma machine, un build sponsorisé Crucial, et à l'époque ils n'avaient plus beaucoup d'options. Mon RX 6800 est juste assez limité pour ne pas poser de problème dans ce cas.
Je ne recommande pas d'utiliser un refroidisseur standard. Il existe des modèles beaucoup plus performants pour moins de 20 dollars.
Je suis d'accord avec Montech sur le choix du PSU.
Le fait que l'AMD soit obsolète est clair, comme mentionné. Pour les jeux, un 7600x ou 9600x serait plus rapide, plus abordable et offrirait une meilleure possibilité d'amélioration.
