Do you have any ideas for a budget new laptop under 500 Dollars?
Do you have any ideas for a budget new laptop under 500 Dollars?
Consider a budget laptop costing less than $500. I’m looking for one with an Intel Core i5 processor, at least 8GB of RAM, and the ability to upgrade RAM later. Prefer recommendations from Asus or HP. Video rendering should be manageable, even if gaming isn’t the main focus. A slightly larger build would be fine, and Windows 11 should come pre-installed. Thank you.
I suggest this affordable option priced around $280:
Acer Aspire 3 15.6" Touchscreen AMD Ryzen 5 7520U 2.8GHz 16GB RAM 512GB SSD W11H | eBay

AMD Ryzen 5 7520U 4 cores, 8 threads (base 2.8GHz / boost 4.3GHz) Processor
15.6" (1920 x 1080) IPS 60Hz Touch Screen
16GB LPDDR5 RAM
512GB NVMe SSD
or look at slickdeals for a laptop. You don’t need to worry much about Intel versus AMD; any recent 4-core chip works fine.
If you prefer Intel, here’s a model under $380:

i5-1335U (up to 4.6 GHz, 10 cores, 12 threads)
8 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) – likely upgradable
256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
Sir, I checked if a 12th generation model fits your budget and meets your requirements. I considered the HP 15s-fq5786TU, which has an Intel Core i3 processor from the 12th generation. It’s available in your price range and seems suitable for long-term use. Would you like more details or alternatives?

In the future, please give location information, and budget in your currency, when looking for advice on a new system, or hardware. It makes it easier for people to give suggestions, and not waste your time with suggestions that will not work for you.
Hey, sorry about the previous response. I only noticed it after I mentioned the Acer Aspire.
I changed my currency to dollars to make things clearer, sir.
I'm from Bangladesh and use Taka.
My budget is 80,000 taka, which equals about 524 dollars.
However, taxes on international laptops in our country are 15-20% higher, so I suggest keeping it under 500 dollars with an i5 processor. You can find more details in my post.
I didn't want to overwhelm you with too much information, just enough for clarity.
It would be even better if you could recommend some websites.
