Hey guys,
I discovered an old CPU and plan to use it for light gaming, especially GTA V. The setup includes a Gigabyte P55A UD3R motherboard, an Intel Core i5-760 processor, a Radeon RX 480 GPU, and 16 GB of DDR3 RAM. Do you have any advice on upgrading this PC for improved performance without spending much more?

If the system lacks one, a 2.5" SSD would significantly improve overall responsiveness. Adequate CPU cooling can avoid thermal throttling. Ensure you also have a reliable power supply.

GTA V will face significant challenges, particularly following the introduction of ray tracing in the new generation update. I plan to sell the current setup, then upgrade to a more reliable used machine or construct a robust new base system for future expansion.
