Do you have any brands you rely on for monitor mounts?
Do you have any brands you rely on for monitor mounts?
No, a mount typically comes with adapters for different sizes.
If you need a mount that can change height, you must also consider the monitor's weight (without the stand). This ensures the spring tension stays within a suitable range.
Visit the ergotron website to understand these factors better.
They welcome questions and provide detailed information about mounts, requirements, and additional details.
If you have a budget to consider, ergotron is the ideal choice.
Are you seeking a wall mount or a desk mount?
For one monitor or several?
How much adjustability is required?
What do you mean by your bar?
Ergotron seems to be beyond my budget. I’ve bought a lot from monoprice and will likely try them again.
Desk setup.
One monitor.
It mostly needs some movement since I have an unusual arrangement in my basement bar, allowing me to use my bike and trainer indoors during the winter.
We have a bar in the basement where I play games, and I ride my bike using zwift, so I have two setups. The monitor needs to swivel slightly to serve both purposes.
I’m aiming for a mount that can be clamped onto the bar, giving me more space at the bar for my legs and my first mat under both my mouse and keyboard.
I’m also getting my first wireless mouse for Christmas, which adds a bit more flexibility.
Monitor weight seems around 15 pounds.
The monoprice appears to weigh approximately 20 pounds.
I encountered an unexpected issue. Do you have any suggestions?
Eventually came to the same conclusion. Thank you. Now I'm just working on finding a way to keep the monitor stationary. Also, are most monitors flat on the back? My isn't and I had to push the bracket in and scrape the back of my monitor.
