Do you have an issue with your new PC?
So I built my new PC and everything worked fine... right? Probably.
My issue is that my USB and Bluetooth connections keep dropping, and my wireless headset sometimes picks up static noise. It feels like I’m lagging while watching videos on YouTube.
The temperatures are good, everything was updated or reinstalled, and I tried different RAM types, but the problem still happens. I turned off XMP Profile and disabled Power Safe for everything.
Any suggestions or ideas?
For your Windows setup, the installer you used was quite old. I encountered some issues back then when setting up my Ryzen system. It turned out the software on the USB drive was outdated and was the reason for the problems. Switching to the latest version resolved everything perfectly.
Where did you obtain the file from?
What kind of delay was experienced? Microstuttering? Missed inputs? Or is there a persistent, uneven performance like a low frame rate? Were you certain the settings were configured for 165Hz? Did you install the GeForce drivers directly from Nvidia's installer, or was it only via Windows Update?
Microstuttering would be accurate, the screen is set to 165 Hz with Nvidia drivers installed from the official installer. Windows was also downloaded via the Main Homepage using a USB drive. I'm not sure if this information is useful, but if I don't use VSync and let the graphics card handle things for exceeding 400 fps in League of Legends, my character teleports when I move quickly from left to right. This hasn't happened on my other PC before.
Can you confirm if the Rivatuner overlay is being used and whether these are framedrops instead of bad internet? The network controller failure appears to be a frequent problem with your motherboard under heavy load, which was one of the first issues I encountered while researching.
I used Rivatuner but didn't find any framedrops, yet the teleportation function was still active. I also verified my network connection and confirmed there was no package loss or any other issues.
I experienced the same issue on one of my builds. By reviewing my steps, I realized the Windows installation was corrupted and the license key had expired. I obtained a new license key, erased the drive, and everything functioned perfectly afterward.
