Hello everyone,
My sister is searching for a new PC, mainly for basic office work and some light gaming like escape rooms, Rocket League, Dinner Dash, and Tycoon-style games.
I used to build their PCs myself, but it seems cheaper to just purchase prebuilt ones now.
I was considering a model priced around 450€.
It includes: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with an onboard Radeon Vega 7, AMD A520 motherboard, 16GB DDR3 RAM, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, and a 300-watt PSU. It runs Windows 11 Pro.
They only provided this information, which is a bit concerning since the RAM type and power supply are a bit unusual for this setup. My main concerns are the DDR3 RAM and the low 300-watt PSU—do they really need more for this kind of system?
If it’s enough, could they add an extra monitor?
For any other options with DDR4 RAM and a 400-watt PSU, the price would jump to around 600-650€.

The DDR3 needs to be a specific type. AM4 systems should use DDR4. The power supply seems fine as long as you stick to the built-in video from the 5600G; adding a graphics card later would need a different PSU. Do you have a link to the system you're referring to?

It seems odd because the description mentions DDR4 RAM while the specs list DD3 RAM, but no details are given. They clearly don’t require more than 1080p.

Dutch is acceptable. The translation isn't a concern for a connected website.
As mentioned before, it should be a typo or mistake.
It would be helpful to learn more about the PSU, certainly in that case.

In terms of wattage, 300 is acceptable. However, you need the make and model of the PSU.

By the way, it matches what it says about being a standard office PC. Nothing special or expensive. Just the essentials.
I’m hoping to find a common, no-frills OEM PSU from brands like Dell and HP—many still offer these basic units.

I don't know much about that PSU, but it seems to look good.
